In the new update it seems that they decided to place the "Defaults" folder after the "Setting Library" folder, while now it is located only after the "Omnisphere" folder. So if I simply copy the STEAM directory on the old one, I will find myself having two "Defaults" Library on the hard drive: the old one installed where it is now + the new one that now is placed after "Setting Library". MULTITIMBRAL mode is useful when sequencing with multiple MIDI tracks in the host. The MASTER FILTER is separate from Omnisphere’s dedicated Filter section on the LAYERS page and is designed as a simple tone control. While there are plenty of third-party synth plug-ins available on the market-place today, its fair to say that few pack as much sonic punch and are capable of quite such an array of sounds as Spectrasonics Omnisphere. It was well-known for producing glassy, metallic, and other harmonically complex sounds. path on the New STEAM folder (to be installed): STEAM > Omnisphere > Setting Library > Here I find both "Defaults" and "Patches" folders. Omnisphere’s MASTER FILTER controls the entire Patch, meaning that it affects all Layers. FM has been a feature on synthesizers since the 1960s, but it became mainstream in the 1980s with Yamaha’s DX/TX series of digital synthesizers. Inside "Setting Library" folder I find the folder "Patches". If you plan to create a new Patch Library, a good starting point is to unzip the Current Categories.zip file. path on the Old STEAM folder (already installed on PC): STEAM >Omnisphere > here I find the folder "Default" and the folder "Setting Library". NOTE: When you rename or create new folders at the top level, you must re-instantiate Omnisphere, then select the Refresh button in order for them to appear in Omnisphere’s Browser. There seems to be some path changes between the two! think this can result in a big mess. I'm checking the STEAM folder in the updated file.
